DOWN THE RIVER

I’m going down the river. I’m going to find my one true love. I’ve been standing on the shore for far too long. I just can not seem to find someone who will satisfy my insatiable mind. Lord I just don’t know to where she’s gone. I’m swimming out to her, even farther than before. Lord I can’t live my life alone, no not anymore. But I’m caught by the drift and it won’t be long till I can’t turn back to the safety of the shore. I’m going down deep, far down below. I know I’ll catch her where no one else can go. But don’t hold your breath cause I might not come up. We will dance below to where this river flows. We’re going down the river. I’m going with my one true love.
